Superstar Rajnikanth can be seen sporting the role of a don in his next Tamil film Kabali, which is written and directed by Pa. Ranjith. The first look poster of the upcoming mob film was unveiled on Wednesday.

Two posters of Rajinikanth with different looks were released on the eve of Ganesh Chaturthi. In one of the posters, he is seen seated cross-legged overlooking the city skyline in a stylish grey suit with the Malaysian twin towers in the backdrop, while in the second poster, he is portrayed as a local don Kabaleeshwaran.

Popularly known as Thalaiva, Rajinikanth can be seen playing the titular role of an ageing gangster in the flick, while Radhika Apte will star as the female lead. Actors Prakash Raj, Kishore, Kalaiyarasan, Dhansika, and Dinesh Ravi will also be seen playing supporting roles in the movie.

The 64-year-old actor, who was last seen in Lingaa, looks stylish sporting a thick bearded look in the debut posters of Kabali, which is his 159th film in the industry.

The first look pictures which were set to be revealed on Thursday, were posted by the super star himself on his Twitter handle the evening before the planned release date.

The film is to be released next year as shooting of the film begins in Malaysia this week and will later continue in Bangkok and Hong Kong.
