Coffee Face/Body Scrub

Shed those dead skin cells to reveal your vibrant skin with an easy DIY scrub you can make with ingredients you already have in your kitchen.

Ingredients: 1. 1tbsp of coffee powder. 2. 1/2 tbsp of sugar. 3. 1/2 tbsp of olive oil.

Mix all ingredients in a bowl and apply it on your face. Scrub away all the dirt and dead cells to make way for fresh and beautiful skin.


 

Natural Coconut + Honey Moisturiser

Moisturize your skin naturally and save yourself from all the nasty chemicals you’d find in most moisturizers available in the market.

Coconut a great natural moisturizer and has anti-fungal and antibacterial properties. Honey is full of natural nourishing ingredients that your skin needs. Create the perfect natural skin food with these two amazing ingredients.

Ingredients:
1 cup softened coconut oil
½ to 1 cup honey (Tip: Use a generous ½ cup)

Add the coconut oil and honey into a blender. Blend until mixed, but don’t over blend. You may see small spots of honey after the combination hardens, which is OK.

Pour into a glass jar. It’ll take a few hours to get the perfect consistency to be able to scoop out with a spoon or your fingers. If you live in a place with a hot climate, just place it in the refrigerator.


 

Natural Lip Butter

Our lips are one of the most ignored parts of our face. Keep your lips soft and luscious with this natural DIY lip butter.

Ingredients:
1 tb coconut oil
1 tb cocoa butter
1 tb beeswax (2 tsp for a softer butter)
1 tsp cocoa powder (for chocolate)
4-5 drops essential oil (for vanilla flavor)

Preparation:
Finely chop cocoa butter (1 tbsp)
Finely chop beeswax
Combine in a saucepan: coconut oil, cocoa butter, beeswax, and cocoa powder, allow it to melt.
Stir. Pour in lip gloss containers to harden.
Let chapstick/lipgloss cool for about 5-10 minutes before using
One batch makes about 4 containers of lip butter.


 

Yummy “Mud” Mask

Here’s a DIY mask that you can both apply and eat (if you are tempted to). Technically there’s no real mud involved but the mask is a surefire way to get your face to glow naturally. Do try it out.

Ingredients:
2-3 Tablespoons Greek yogurt
1 tsp. cocoa powder
1 tsp. buttermilk
¼-1/2 of a banana mashed
1 tsp. honey
1 tsp. lemon juice

Lightly blend all the ingredients in a blender to make a smooth paste. Apply it to your face and wash away after 15-30 minutes. The goodness of this all-natural face mask will surely be visible for others to see.


 

Morning Facial Cleaner

Brighten up your mornings with this wonderful and simple facial cleanser. The ingredients are easy to find and the effects are difficult to ignore.

Ingredients:
2 Tablespoons of Whole Organic Oats
2 Tablespoons of Powdered Soy Milk or Cow’s Milk
1 Tablespoon of Organic Sweet Almond Oil or Organic Olive Oil

Hand crush whole oats or grind in a coffee grinder. Combine all three ingredients in a small bowl, and mix well. Mix it with tap water until you get desired consistency. Then simply rub it on your face in a circular motion. Leave on your face for about five to ten minutes, or until dry. Rinse off with a soft cloth and warm water.
