When you talk about love and life then, it’s inevitable to not miss heart-breaks as a far-off topic, because after all, life without pain is a myth and so is love without a heart-break. Sometimes, I cannot help but wonder why do we fall in love when it is somewhere or the other linked to suffering and wreckage of heart? We all know that between the brain and the heart, its brain – the smarter one of the two. However, we, on most occasions, choose to let our heart take the course of our life and no doubt, we suffer, suffer real bad!

I’d like to quote one of my favorite lines on love and heart-breaks as I relate to it every now and then – please heart, stop getting involved in everything, your job is only to pump blood!  It sounds clichéd, yes. But it’s not far from the truth. Agree? It’s amazing how our heart itself chooses to have its way and later, gets hurt on the basis of its own decisions. Whoa! Some things are certainly beyond our normal course of understanding and this is certainly one of those.

In India, we have a movie, a song, a dialogue for every emotion, and love & heart-breaks top the list of subjects for Bollywood movies. Right from Mughlam-e-Azam to Jab Tak Hai Jaan – feelings of a broken heart have always been beautifully woven in the form of heart-touching dialogues that still make us feel heavy and reminisce about that long lost love, we had loved by all our heart.

So, today, let’s remember that one person in our life that somehow couldn’t become a part of our life eternally. But love doesn’t come with expiry date, does it? So, take some heart. Become nostalgic, think about the good moments that you spent with them. Need some inspiration in this endeavor?
